This one-of-a-kind tele scratchplate was made from 2.8-3mm thick 3-ply solid wood and 15 inbuilt brass parts taken from a 70-year-old family owned clock. The design was inspired by Star Trek Klingon ships and costumes. The pickguard plate and control plate were cut and engraved to form a Klingon grid that leaves parts of the guitar body exposed, giving the guitar a super cool and original look. After meticulous sculpting of inside edges with a file to give the grid angled lines, we painted it in copper and burnt it to create black shading, to make it look old and weathered after going through many Galactic Wars J. We also gave it a very special touch, by embedding the round brass elements into the grid holes. Finally, we applied two coats of semi-gloss varnish for protection.
This luxurious, Star Trek inspired copper tele pickguard and control plate look great on most guitar bodies, giving them a very special and original look and feel. Your guitar will proudly wear it! Watch the video to see the shifting of color and light from different angles.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns if the pickguard you purchased doesn’t fit your guitar. That’s why it’s very IMPORTANT that you carefully look at the image with screw distance measurements and compare it with your guitar or existing pickguard, to ensure that it fits.
