This Les Paul pickguard, truss rod cover and jack plate were made from 3.30mm thick 3-ply solid wood. Total thickness in silver sections is 4.5mm, due to the thick resin coating.
The elegant vintage leaves design was first engraved, then painted in black paint, and coated with matte polyurethane. Then the leaves were hand painted with 3 layers of strong, scratch resistant resin and liquid sparkly silver was sandwiched in the middle layer. The final result is a spectacular Les Paul pickguard set with rich, raised and very smooth 3D texture of the leaves which resembles luxury silk brocade cloth that you can usually see on antique furniture and drapes. It shines wonderfully when you move the pickguard at different angles and matches silver hardware.
We can also make the liquid metal sections in other colors: gold, rose gold (copper), blue, green, pink, purple, red, yellow, black, etc. The color of the background can also be chosen, to match/complement the color of your guitar.

The set includes three matching parts: the main pickguard, truss rod cover, and jack plate, all designed specifically for Gibson Les Paul Standard guitars.
Each Gibson Les Paul Standard pickguard set of 3 sparkly silver leaves begins as a 3.3mm thick solid 3-ply wood base. The elegant vintage leaves design is first engraved into the surface, then carefully painted in black and sealed with a matte polyurethane coat. This creates a deep, rich background that enhances contrast and highlights the decorative elements.
The leaves are then hand finished using a complex multi-layer resin technique. Three layers of strong, scratch-resistant clear resin are applied, with liquid sparkly silver gilding embedded in the middle layer. Due to the thickness of the resin coating, the total thickness in the silver sections reaches approximately 4.5mm, creating a raised, embossed three-dimensional texture.
This Gibson Les Paul Standard pickguard set of 3 sparkly silver leaves features a smooth, glossy leaf surface that reflects light beautifully as the guitar moves. The texture resembles luxury silk brocade fabrics often seen on antique furniture and decorative interiors. The sparkly silver finish pairs perfectly with silver guitar hardware and adds a refined, elegant character to the instrument.
