This pickguard set is available for Gibson Les Paul Standard/Studio and Les Paul Historic guitars (Message us to say whether to ship you the Standard/Studio version, or LP Historic), but please check the blueprint image to verify the fit. This Les Paul pickguard set was made from 1.5 mm thick high quality, airplane grade aluminum. Aluminum plate was cut into form, and geometric pattern was engraved in a special chemical process. It was hand painted in black and then “painted’ again using sanding and polishing techniques to give it aged and relic’d look.
This metal Les Paul pickguard is extremely durable. It will last you for a very, very long time (may even outlive the guitar).

Each aged Gibson Les Paul Historic pickguard set of 2 begins as a raw aluminum plate that is precisely cut to shape and engraved with a geometric Polynesia pattern. The engraving is done using a special chemical process that allows for crisp detail and long-lasting depth. After engraving, the surface is hand-painted, sanded, and polished to achieve a natural aged silver and black appearance.
This pickguard set is designed specifically for Gibson Les Paul Historic guitars. The screw hole layout and dimensions follow Historic specifications, ensuring proper alignment and visual balance when installed. Customers using other Les Paul models such as Standard or Studio versions are encouraged to check the blueprint image with screw distance measurements or contact us before ordering.
