Silver Precision Bass pickguard was made from 2 mm thick anodized matte-silver aluminum. The pickguard has a very interesting texture, with contrasting gray scratches and discolorations.
This pickguard is durable and scratch resistant. It will last you for a very, very long time (may even outlive the guitar). Furthermore, aluminum improves your sound quality.
